Abdulazeez Idiaro is an Deputy Manager and Special Assistant to the Managing Director of a Multi-Billion Naira, Nigerian Transport Company, where he support and advise on Operations, Human Resource, Fleet Management, Workshop, Planning, Digitalization, Monitoring, Marketing, Administration, Procurement, Finance and Account.
Abdulazeez is responsible for managing a host of successful projects and initiatives, some of which includes Corporate Transformation, System Reviews, Restructuring, Staffing, Strategic Planning, Blueprint Masterplan and liaison with Consultants and Stakeholders.
Prior to the role, He was the Head Control Room, working with team that aggregates and inputs Operations data to the Central Portal and generate report that aids informed managerial decision making from a consolidated Database. He is also a pioneer Marketing and Communication Officer that co-established the Marketing and Communication Department. He jointly draft the mandates, roles, Strategies and Structures. The Department is arguably the most vibrant as it tremendously contributes to the bottom-line in areas of revenue generation, public relations, customer service and automation across the organization.
He has a stint at the United Bank for Africa (UBA) in Mass Market/Product Sales – where he markets and sell the Banks products to win new customers and retain existing ones. He creates risk assets and contribute to deposit mobilization of the Bank. He also deploys and support digital banking solutions such as Mobile Banking APP, Internet Banking and POS Terminal to customers in the Branch.
Abdulazeez bagged his M.Sc and B.Sc in Business Administration from the University of Abuja and University of Ilorin respectively. He possess Proficiency Certificate in management and an Associate Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Abdulazeez is a Licensed Advertising Professional in Nigeria – an Associate Member of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), where he is also awarded Professional Diploma in Advertising. He has successfully completed the course on The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing at Google Digital Skills for Africa. He participated in the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria/Unilever Best Marketing Student Award Examination, a strictly by invitation only examination for the Best Marketing Students in Nigeria, co-representing University of Ilorin as an Undergraduate Student.
